3. AI Features and Data Processing

- Food photos you submit are processed by our AI model to identify dishes, ingredients, and estimate nutritional values. Photos may be transmitted to our servers or third-party AI providers for processing.
- Text messages sent to the AI chat assistant are processed to generate personalized responses. Conversation context is maintained within your session.
- AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and should not replace professional medical or dietary advice.
The AI features in Foodia are powered by Google Gemini (Google LLC). When you submit food photos or chat messages, this data is transmitted to Google's servers for processing. Google's data handling practices are governed by the Google Cloud Privacy Notice. Google does not use this data to train its general AI models without your consent.
